i love being home in the early afternoon on a sunny day. not like i'm particularly planning on doing anything outside...i'd run but..well, i don't want to. and kitty wants me to pet her; that's an excuse, right?
got out early from anesthesia. the days are a little boring, so being let out early is extra nice. way better than sitting in a cold operating room listening to the interminable beeps.
pete and i spent this last weekend in brooklyn checking out the sites, catching up with old friends, and getting ready for my last interview tuesday. we had a really great time, eating lots of good food, figuring out the subway, watching cable in the hotel, walking everywhere. and we just might end up there for the next few years, we'll see...
this friday is the feast, which we are hosting. best thing about having people over: the clean apartment we get to enjoy. tonight we will finally de-dec from christmas, just haven't had the time yet.
