i haven't been to a red sox game since high school, so i thought i should see when they were going to be in toronto, which is closer than boston and a pretty cool town. and it's not that hard to get tickets. handily, my roommate lives there also, which means i got a place to sleep and someone to split the gas with. win win. sadly, the sox didn't win. but that would not dampen my spirits.
look, there's jason varitek, tapping on his medial malleolus compulsively. i love him.
a little bit of surreptitious phototaking (is that legal?). this is the guy i sat next to. he was kind of obnoxious. he liked to tease me, because i was a red sox fan. i don't think that's a good enough reason. he was ok, though, really. once again, nothing could get me down....
what? jay govoni? seriously, i turned around when he sat down and had to do a double take. how far away is toronto from ohio?
i'm contemplating my love for a team that would lose so horribly to a canadian team on the first chance i had to see them in years. but no, i will not be swavered. i won't let it "break my haht".
